Two brothers founded THE SPICE CHANGE; J. Kasher and I. Mashar.
At The Spice Change, we’re more than just a brand – we’re the story of resilience, hope, and dreams born from the hearts of two brothers in war-torn Afghanistan. Having witnessed the power of community, these brothers worked hand in hand with farmers, governmental institutions, and the private sector, building businesses that uplifted their society. Their experience in advocating for consumer health, fair wages for women laborers, and the welfare of farmers shaped a vision that transcends borders.
When they arrived in Europe with nothing but a sack of saffron and a passion to connect people, their mission was clear: to bring the finest spices to your table while empowering the communities that produce them. The Spice Change is more than a transaction – it’s a bridge between European consumers and the hardworking farmers and women laborers of Afghanistan, offering natural, ethically-sourced saffron at fair prices.
Every purchase you make supports a legacy of empowerment, trust, and sustainability. We invite you to join our journey, where your choice contributes to a better, healthier world – for both you and the farmers behind every spice. Let The Spice Change be your reminder of quality, purpose, and a future where your purchase makes a difference.
